Technical Communication UK (TCUK) is the annual conference that enables technical authors, illustrators, and translators—along with their managers and clients—to gather and exchange views on best working practices and new trends. This year's conference at the Oxford Belfry Hotel on 21-23 September will build on last years hugely successful event. Registration is now open on the conference website - we recommend you book early to be sure of your place.
Technical Communication UK 2010 will deliver more than 30 sessions over three days, with presentations, workshops, case studies, and hands-on product demonstrations from experts in their field. For fully residential delegates in the 4-star Oxford Belfry hotel, this is all available for less than £500.
It has been confirmed that Indi Liepa (IT Manager and XML Concept Owner) of Nokia will be this year's opening Keynote Speaker. Indi will provide an insight into how Nokia meets its huge and complex technical information challenge: that is, to meet the small and simple needs of each and every customer. She has over 20 years experience in documentation as a technical writer, technical trainer, information designer, project manager, information architect, content management architect and enteprise architect.

This year's event was held at the Mickleover Hotel in Derby on 22nd–24th September and featured over 40 workshops and presentations. With over 150 delegates and 20 exhibitors, the feedback on the quality and value of the conference has been tremendous. Here are just a few comments:
